Ruby Blaze stands in the locker
room of the United
Center in Chicago, Illinois. She is watching the playback of Slash’s tape. It appears to be the same
room Slash was in earlier.
Ruby Blaze: “Dear,
dear slash… Where do I begin? You come into this locker room and throw some shit around and think that it proves how
tough you are. Wow, you can beat up inanimate objects, good for you! You think axes and other weapons prove how great of a
wrestler you are. You’re wrong! You think that beating the sense out of someone who’s not fighting back makes
you a big boy. You’re wrong! Try fighting someone, one on one, with your bare hands. That makes you a man. Try someone
who fights back and gives you a challenge. That’s how you prove how great you are. You’ve proven nothing that
a sack of lard could’ve proven to the NWA.”
Ruby walks over to the chair Slash
had slammed into the wall earlier. She picks it up, unfolds it, and sits down.
Blaze: “You
say no one trusts girls in this business. I wonder why? Maybe it’s because we’re the most ruthless out of anybody.
I know you’re not worried about me and that’s where you are going to mess up. I do know you underestimate me and
I will break you in the ring. I’m not saying I’m going to slaughter you, but I will fight back.”
Ruby Blaze smirks.
Blaze: “You
know, it’s a lose/ lose situation for you. You challenged a girl to a match. If you win, so what, you beat a girl! What
does that prove? If you lose, you got BEAT by a girl! You fucking suck! I have a better advantage. If I lose to you, everyone
will expect it. They will tell me I should leave the NWA, much like they’re doing now. On the other hand, if I win,
I will prove myself and people will still be telling me to leave the NWA. None of that matters though, because I’m here
to stay here. Be prepared, Slash. You’ve never been with a woman like me before.”
Ruby Blaze gets up and walks out
of the room. The camera cuts away to the NWA logo.
