CAT SCRATCH FEVER
July 30th 2006

Sarah King, along with the NWA camera crew (Bubba is on vacation), enters what appears to be a salon. Ruby Blaze is sitting at a table having her nails done. As Sarah King walks up, she appears to be caught off guard.

Ruby Blaze: “and he came out to Las Vegas to see me! He was very… oh hello, Sarah!”

Ruby blaze winks at the nail stylist. Sarah King shoves a microphone into Ruby Blaze’s face and immediately jumps into the surprise interview.

Sarah King: “What's your relationship with Jigsaw? How do you feel about your first ever match this Tuesday on Throwdown? How do you think Slash will measure up in your match? What are your plans for…”

Blaze: “Whoa, Sarah! Slow down! I’m not gonna run away, at least not yet! I only have my first coat of paint on my nails!”

*Blows on Nails*

Blaze: “I’m very excited about my first ever match on Throwdown. I plan to rip Slash apart. Why else would I be getting my nails done? You ever heard of cat scratch fever? Well Slash better be ready, because I don’t play nice.”

“As for Slash himself, he has the attention span of a goldfish, as I proved last Tuesday. I highly doubt he will be able to keep his attention focused in the ring. Even if he does, I don’t think he’ll be ready for anything I’m about to bring.”

King: “Your dad, any news on him?”

Blaze: “I found that St. Louis yielded no information for me and I plan to continue my search as the tournament continues. There are thousands of casinos in the United States. I’m sure at least one will have some useful resources. I will find him, I have no doubt.”

King: “Do you have any plans for your future in the NWA?”

Blaze: “I am really waiting for more women to join. I hope that I move some people enough that they take the incentive to join. I really want to see a women’s title up in the future and I would love to have a tag team partner. Female or Male…”

King: “Is that a proposition for wrestler’s in the fed?”

Blaze (cocking an attitude): “Yes it is, Sarah! I propose a tag team partnership to any in or about to enter the NWA. As long as they can handle working or being up against a girl. I’ve heard a lot of gossip going around the NWA and apparently, some of the boys don’t approve of a girl being on the roster. They’re just afraid they’ll be humiliated if they step in the ring with me, others are waiting for their balls to drop.”

Ruby Blaze puts her hands back on the table and the nail stylist begins to apply another coat of paint.

Blaze: “You have your interview, now leave me be.”

King: “But my question about Jigsaw, you never answered it?”

Blaze: “How bout you stick to wrestling and when you’re working for Doctor Phil, THEN I’ll let you know about my personal life? Or would you like that microphone shoved down your throat?”

Sarah King looks puzzled and doesn’t know what to say. Finally she turns around to leave and herds the NWA camera crew out the door.
